For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

I do like a good periodic table tho.

funny story. holly went on a puzzle binge a couple of years ago.

she did a large puzzle of a periodic table, with cool examples of each element (most of them anyway) printed in the squares, some of the radioactive ones have pictures of their namesakes...

...any way, holly wanted to save it so I bought a black coffee table and some plexi glass a and some sealant and now we have a cool table (periodic table!) and we keep arrowheads and my amethyst crystals and other cool mineral stuff on

Finally made it,it seems that the Good Folks at "Le Chat" will finally disappear, with the unfortunate demise of Denniz(RIP).Guinevere, helped a lot of us get in.Good to hear everyone,Car Talk is getting a bit restrictive and stuffy. The divers subjects here, will certainly 8-) make for good contemplation

I know...this thread is so old that not only has the image in the OP expired, but also I have no recollection of what it once was—even after reading all the replies. So here's a replacement appropriate for the original thread title:
