Um, no. I would like to edit, like I have always been editing. I have said, I would resign to the poll; but doesn't mean I have to like it.

Yeah I can see how that's working fer ya.

If you are really a serious aspiring writer, get a Strunk & White and review proper comma and semicolon usage (among other things, like the difference between there and their).
Draft your posts offline and revise before posting them
Enlist an editor. With all the readers you have, I'm sure you can find a second set of eyes willing to read/proof advance copy.
Now, because I'm beginning to find you highly annoying again, you go back on ignore.

Or just cut'n'paste what they have posted on their website, they rarely make spelling errors.
April 17: The chicks have achieved a second coat of down which protects them from the cold while both parents are hunting birds to satisfy their voracious appetites. Please do not be alarmed when the youngsters are not brooded for what seem to be long periods of time. They can take it—Peregrine Falcons live and raise young in the Arctic. One other cautionary note: It is typical for one or two young to receive more food than one or two of the others at any given feeding. Knowing that, when we see one youngster who does not seem to be eating much, it is probably because he or she ate heartily just a few hours ago and is not yet hungry. To our eyes, it seems like it is the “one in the back” who is not being fed. But in fact, it is the “one who ate most at the last meal” that is now in the back dozing

But when spelled out rather than said straight, should it not be "AN F - U - C - K"?

Re: Falcon Cam 2012
Well then, you should just provide a link to their page, and then you won't have to worry about editing it will you?
PS.My advice was; "Or just cut'n'paste what they have posted on their website, they rarely make spelling errors".
There's nothing to say they correct their pages for just spelling errors. As a blog writer myself, I know there are multiple coding and other issues, like dead links, which need to be changed at times..

You know LoCa, as I mentioned in the other thread, I'm really looking forward to when you make these arguments for unlimited editing to Gar....
It took me about two weeks to finally talk him in to raising the limit on the old CSB from the 30 minutes Gwenvita decreed it would be set at, to 10 hours....
BTW, the limit at the current incarnation of the CSB is 3600 seconds...(60 minutes)
Yes, I suspect that when you make your case on this to him the response will be most entertaining....

Re: Falcon Cam 2012
Gob, on the first page, I provided some links, as since this is Silicon Valley there are quite a few webpages and Facebook pages ...ETA: and YouTube vids;
This page is the San Jose Peregrines Alliance Website;
pre-season | courtship & mating | eggs | nest defense | eyasses | fledging | juvenile dispersal | clara & her mate | general / misc |non breeding-season peregrine | survival | falconry
Glenn R. Stewart, Coordinator [and baby falcon bander] links to this, when a common question pops up, so he doesn't have to repeat himself too much in the forum. The information is updated weekly, or as needed. "These postings cover prior seasons as well as current season. You will find the forum moderators and Glenn himself may refer you to this page so you may read his prior response to your always valued questions." So, the posts may have been around as long as 2007, when this webpage was created. No matter how old the entry, it may be edited, then Tina puts the new link in the newsletter.

City Hall Welcomed the Start of 2012 Falcon Season
February 27, 2012
City Hall welcomed the start of 2012 falcon season when Clara laid her first egg of this year’s clutch during the evening on February 25 – the same date that last year’s first egg arrived.
Clara is celebrating her sixth nesting season at San Jose City Hall, and her fourth with mate Esteban Colbert.
Falcons typically lay their eggs in 56-hour intervals until a “clutch” of four eggs is completed, so be sure to view the FalconCam online over the next few days to watch as the next three eggs are laid. Access the FalconCam by visiting either of the following:

Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group website at http://www.scpbrg.org
Falcon fans can also receive updates through the San José City Hall Peregrine Falcons Yahoo! Group or become a fan of the falcons on Facebook

Newest San Jose City Hall falcon chicks are three boys and a girl
By Mark Gomez

In what has become an annual spring event, Glenn Stewart, an expert from the University of California-Santa Cruz, examined the baby birds and determined the genders: three boys and a girl. Stewart placed bands on the falcons' legs and collected information about their health and nest conditions.
"At this point, you see four babies that are obviously babies," Stewart said. "In three weeks they'll be out flying around. It's an amazing process."
As is customary, Stewart was greeted by the adult falcons, named Clara and Fernando, who spent the entire time shrieking and dive-bombing the intruder.
"They come down at 100 mph and scream and protest," Stewart said. "They figure they have repelled an invader successfully. They get right back to being parents."
Now that the falcon chicks have been banded, they will be named.
Youngsters between the ages of 5 to 18, who live or attend school in San Jose, have nominated names for the chicks. The finalists are being selected. The public will be able to vote on them online from Wednesday through May 9, when the winners will be announced.
Clara laid the four eggs on Feb. 25. Three of them hatched on April 8, Easter Sunday, and the fourth the following day.
The next major milestone for the young Falcons who call San Jose City hall home is flying lessons. The falcons are expected to fledge sometime between May 16 and 20.

If you believe you are free to post however and whatever you choose without any consequences, go for it. We'll see how well that works out for you.
Here's a hint - if you decide you are going to attempt to make life miserable for the administrators of ANY forum, they are always going to get the last laugh. As will the rest of us when you prove once and for all that you just don't have it in you to let go of this vendetta.
