Rising Sun and Moon?
I woke up and looked out the window about 6:30 this morning (just when it was starting to get light) and did a double take. It appeared to me be a partial eclipse of the sun visible a few minutes. Upon looking it up, http://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/san-jose, I found that the eclipse listed for September 1, 2016 wouldn't be visible from San Jose. I went to the world map that shows percentage that would be visible, http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/sola ... eptember-1, and the United States the visibility would be zero.
I know beyond a doubt what I saw and the only conclusion I came up with is that maybe I was seeing was atmospheric reflectionon or ghost image? I am going to check to see if there were others who saw it and scientifically if this was possible. Do any of you have any ideas, explanations, or conspiracy theories?

I have a mysterious left eye problem where either the top 30% or sometimes the bottom 30% of my vision is blotted out by a horizontal grey band.

You got drunk, blacked out and woke up somewhere other than San Jose. Somewhere where the eclipse was visible.Do any of you have any ideas, explanations, or conspiracy theories?
You still think you are in San Jose, but a few dozen shots will fix that, you'll go into another black out and make it back to San Jose and be no worse for the wear and tear.

Trust me, I know.

You forgot the time travel part, since the Eclipse isn't until TOMORROW (05:08AM Pacific Daylight Time 01 Sept 2016)
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.
