When you have "soul" and "degradation" in the same header, you have a promising thread. On the other hand, if the article is right and a much longer battery life can be developed, this more than moves the needle on electric cars and home electric storage, making solar power more cost effective. I don't know what people will worry about if emissions are cut by 50% or more; not like there are plagues, riots and super power games of chicken to keep our attention.
