Men who've had sex with more than 20 different women have a 28% lower risk of developing prostate cancer, a new Quebec study says.
They were also found to have a 19% lower risk of aggressive forms of cancer, according to the study from the University of Montreal and INRS-Institut Armand-Frappier.
But the same doesn't hold true for men who sleep with other men — those who've had more than 20 different partners have double the risk of prostate cancer, compared to those who have never slept with a man, the study found.
The study is based on a questionnaire filled out by 3,208 men. Of those men, 1,590 were diagnosed with prostate cancer between September 2005 and August 2009. Having more female partners may mean a "higher frequency of ejaculations," which can have a "protective effect against prostate cancer," researcher Marie-Elise Parent said in a press release.

Re: Good excuse for a hall pass?
So does that mean that someone who jacks off all the time would have a lower risk of prostate cancer?Having more female partners may mean a "higher frequency of ejaculations," which can have a "protective effect against prostate cancer,"

Re: Good excuse for a hall pass?
Cause and effect? Maybe those guys who have had more female sex partners are in better shape, meaning in general that group is more attractive. It seems more probable that it is their general health that gains them better health outcomes, not their number of sex partners.

I tried telling that to my urologist but he still insisted on giving me the digital exam.Men who've had sex with more than 20 different women have a 28% lower risk of developing prostate cancer,
Re: Good excuse for a hall pass?
Well get a woman urologist and that exam may well count as a sexual encounter with another woman.

I feel certain a little hand jive will get you similar results without the risk of STDs.

Frequent ejaculation is the critical factor, that's been reported for many years in medical journals and the mainstream press. Men should not be ashamed about daily masturbation; it's a health issue.

Well then our ladies should lend a hand to keep us healthy.

Re: Good excuse for a hall pass?
Not necessary; there is no functional difference between solo ejaculation and ejaculation with a partner, when it comes to the prostate gland.

There is the fun difference though, although that could come as a bit of a blow.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a health issue to get a handle on.
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.
