eta: I would have LOVED to get stoned with my grandma, or even my mother - maybe for one time in her damned life, my ma would've experienced the absence of worry.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Shit rube, next time I visit Cali I'll come see you - I've got friends who can hook me up nicely there. We'll sit in the yard under the persimmons and watch the bees buzz around our buzz . . .

I got stoned with my mom when she was dieing of cancer. Would have been nice if it cured her, but it did ease her pain somewhat and helped keep her food down.would have LOVED to get stoned with my grandma, or even my mother
