General Braxton Bragg, CSA served the US in the war with Mexico. U.S. Grant wrote in his memoirs an anecdote about Bragg during that war - he'd be an ideal Plan B'er:

Once Bragg had been both a company commander as well as company quartermaster (the officer in charge of approving the disbursement of provisions). As company commander he made a request upon the company quartermaster--himself--for something he wanted. As quartermaster he denied the request and gave an official reason for doing so in writing. As company commander he argued back that he was justly entitled to what he requested. As quartermaster he stubbornly continued to persist in denying himself what he needed. Bragg requested the intervention of the post commander (perhaps to diffuse the impasse before it came to blows). His commander was incredulous and he declared, "My God, Mr. Bragg, you have quarreled with every officer in the army, and now you are quarreling with yourself."

Apparently you have since amended that to include "racist":

I'm sorry lib, but I don't get that at all...

No one here, (except for the afore mentioned you-know-who) has ever said or implied that I am a "traitor"...

Nor has anyone currently active on this board ever accused me of being a racist... (except of course for you-know-who, who also has repeatedly accused one of the folks I have been most vigorously arguing with in this discussion of being a racist... you-know-who hasn't worked out the whole "ass versus hole in the ground" challenge, so his views should be judged accordingly...)

Indeed, at the outset of this discussion several of the folks I have been debating with stated in so many words that they know I am not a racist...(I am appreciative of that, and it is deserved; no intelligent, fair-minded person who has been familiar with what I have posted on this site, or the earlier sites over the years, or has any personal knowledge about me, could possibly conclude otherwise.)

So, as the person who has been the most vociferous, stubborn, and determined in taking the unpopular side of this argument, but who has nevertheless never been accused even in this discussion's most heated moments, (by any responsible person) of being a "traitor" or a "racist"....

I will always concur the truth when it is not just someone opinion. I have the right to feel however I wish about my people and anything else I want, my feeling belong to me, and that is not negotiable .

I would never starve there and the skeeters don t bite me much, I got them there pheromones that repel the skeeters, like the African folks are more resistant to malaria. the dawn and dusk skeeters still bite me, but the average everyday ones don t. they swarm on some people. the sweet ones....
