Given your obvious martyr complex, I have no doubt that you think the reason so many are giving you The Heisman is because of your courageousness in taking unpopular positions. You probably see yourself as being being punished by a bunch of haters for being so honest and noble...

There have been people over the years who have taken
extremely unpopular positions, and they haven't wound up with other posters refusing to read their posts.
Back at the CSB we had a poster who went by the name of David Ben-Ariel. DBA was a fanatical COG Herbert Armstrong follower, and an unabashed white supremacist. When it came to unpopular positions, Dave was pretty much an unpopular position factory....
Dave got a lot of shit for his views, but even in his case, you didn't have a widespread number of people throwing up their hands and refusing to even read what he wrote...
It's also not a result of all the gratuitous personal insults and smears you've tossed out either...
Nobody's done more of that then rubato, and he doesn't have a bunch of people putting
him on ignore. (Personally I think the reason this hasn't happened to rube is because
his stupidity is just so darned hilarious...I know that's why
I don't have him on ignore...)
No wes, you've managed to achieve this unique distinction not by any one single thing that you've done or said, but because of a whole cumulative collection of behaviors that add up to someone having absolutely no regard for his fellow posters. You have demonstrated an attitude and "style" that can best be described as contemptuous of everyone else here. That gets old.
