Brasil '66 vs. Brasil 2016

Post by dales »

While Brasil '66 will be remembered as an accomplished musical group, I don't believe Brasil 2016 Olympics will be remembered quite so fondly.

We'll see. Brazil hosted the World Cup in 2014 and it went pretty well despite many of the same concerns. In some ways, the World Cup is even more of a logistical and safety challenge than the Olympics, but they are both mega-events so maybe things will work out okay.

The World Cup doesn't have athletes swimming and boating in what amounts to an open sewer...
