I use "fricassee" metaphorically, BB, as in "he fricasseed the entire republican field in the primaries".

you, on the other hand , have advocated , along with BS gal, to assassinate a candidate. BB could stand for Big Brother. history is what we say it is. you must think properly. do not resist. do not resist.....

scooter, I have never voted a straight ticket, ever, and I have voted for far more democrats than I have for repubs in my life. no more. not now.

I have voted third party more than I have repub.

If Trump supporters vote the straight republican ticket, how will that do anything to change the behavior (fricassee) of GOP incumbents?

I'm voting anti- incumbent.

My wife brought home a trunkload of yard signs yesterday.

Show me where I have advocated for assassinating a candidate.  I may have said it would not surprise me if someone tried to cancel Trump's run for the presidency with a gunshot, and I know I did say that if it were to happen I would take great pleasure in reading Mr. Trump's obituary (of course, I would also take great pleasure in reading his obituary if he were to shuffle off this mortal coil in a manner similar to Elvis, dying of a heart attack while sitting on the crapper straining to take a shit).  I might even have posted my thoughts that removing Trump from politics permanently could be considered to be an act for the greater good of this country in much the same way that Germany and the rest of humanity would have been better off if someone with a Luger had been able to get close enough to Herr Schicklgruber prior to 1939.

But nowhere, and I challenge you to prove otherwise, have I ever come out and said in so many words that "Someone should assassinate Donald Trump".
desperate times call for desperate measures.
You know, someone could use that phrase to suggest that you, in your own turn, are urging the assassination of Hillary Clinton ... especially since the polls seem to be turning in her favor.  Desperate times, desperate measures, you know.....

The head Trumpanzee is in town today. Some of the chants at the protest outside the Langham Hotel: “Stand up, shut it down, Boston is a workers town,” and “Keep your wall, Keep your hate, the USA is already great!”

I love Boston!

Has anyone paid attention to the HuffPost disclaimer in their Trumpanzee stories?
Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.

Have to agree with rube on this one, Jarlaxle.  Even I got a giggle out of his "Glad she didn't get caught" response.

It is humorous but does nothing to alter the perceived lack of objectivity for stories on that website, and kind of plays into Trump's hand.

Indeed, if someone wants to see Democrats retake the House and regain a supermajority in the Senate, he/she should support the primary defeats of semi-sane Republican incumbents by right-wing nutjobs.

Here's The Great Unifier yesterday, staying on point about issues people really care about:
Donald Trump Wants Consequences for GOP Rivals Not Endorsing Him

BANGOR, Maine — No peace 'til Cleveland? Just when some thought the infighting was over, Donald Trump once again is taking on former Republican rivals and traditionally conservative allies.

The GOP presumptive nominee, less than three weeks from the party's convention, told a crowd on Wednesday that he isn't happy that some of his former rivals aren't endorsing him — and the way he sees it, there should be consequences.

Without naming specific politicians, Trump called those 2016 candidates who have yet to endorse him in accordance with the RNC pledge "sore losers" who "should never be allowed to run for public office again." Among those names yet to officially and explicitly endorse Trump are Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. Names that could, come next election cycle, be back in play once again.

For his part, Trump says he "would have honored the pledge" if the roles were reversed. [LMAO  hardly a day went by from the day he signed that pledge to the day he sewed up the nomination that the lyin' weasel didn't threaten to break that "pledge"...he's on video tape dozens of times doing so...utterly shameless..] "I wouldn't have gone crazy, I wouldn't have had 'Let's yell it from the loudest building,' but you know what, I would have honored the pledge."

Striking an incredulous tone about how anyone could disagree with his proposed, largely isolationist, trade plans, Trump wondered aloud "why" anybody would be against what he's saying. "I don't understand it," he said, noting that "if you think about it, it's pretty sinister" to come out against his trade plans.

What he's saying, Trump outlined, is plain and simple "great deals" - conventional trade tenets and ideologies be damned. "I want great deals. I don't care if they're free, I don't care if they're fair, I don't care if they're good, I don't care if they're horrendous -- I just want great deals," Trump announced. "I'll do it all different ways. I'll do it all different ways."

But while Trump was hammering trade and his should-be allies-turned-adversaries, it was his opening act that picked up the mantle of attack against Democrats, specifically Elizabeth Warren. Taking a cue from Trump's nickname of "Pocahontas" for Sen. Warren, conservative New England radio host Howie Carr took the moniker once step further during the pre-rally show.

"You know Elizabeth Warren, right?" Carr said, tapping his hand over his mouth in a mock tribal chant.
The crowd loved it, some joining in with chants of their own. By the time Maine Gov. Paul LePage came to the stage to introduce Trump, some in the arena were chanting in support of their governor for VP.

This article didn't have it, but he also said that in his opinion, the failure of other Presidential candidates to honor the "pledge" is "illegal".... :loon
