I don't think Burns' intent here was to court racist votes, but rather an extremely inartful and clumsy attempt to appeal to blacks by portraying Clinton as someone who only identifies with them and their concerns at election time...

The meeting is nothing but theater for both of them, as there is no actual policy or process that could conceivably result. Trump will emerge saying he talked tough to a real live president so now he is some kind of statesman and world leader himself. Pena Nieto will similarly say he gave the Yankee jackass what-for, hoping it will distract from his domestic problems and boost his plummeting popularity. But there's really nothing to this meeting except whatever media hype each can generate out of it. If Trump manages to come way from the event without further injuring himself through some idiotic remark, it will be considered a major victory for his campaign. That's how low the bar is set.

I'm currently watching Trump's Phoenix rally with immigration policy speech. It's xenophobia on steroids, speed, etc. The crowd is going wild, 'build the wall' 'USA'!!!!!!!!

It's abhorrent. He's foaming at the mouth. He's building a massive wall and purging all the illegal aliens. He wishes we could deport Hillary Clinton, too.
