Oh, this is so obvious.

It's not even a Christmas movie.
B: What do you think you're doing?
D: What? Oh, you mean the press conference. I had a couple of ideas that I wanted to share with the country.
B: Share? Share? You don't call a press conference. I call a press conference. You're nothing. Do you understand? You're nobody.
D: I'm not nobody.
B: You're LINT! You're a FLEA! You're a BLIP!
D: Well... maybe I am. But you're fired.
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.

This one shouldn’t be too hard:
And crawling on the planet's face, some insects called the human race. Lost in time, and lost in space... and meaning.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Well since it's hint time, I'll give one of my favorite quotes:
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

On a completely different topic...
Does anyone remember whatever happened to Fay Wray?

To the best of my knowledge she died from complications of old age over twenty years ago. Rumor has it her blood type was Rh-positive.

New clue as if it is needed
J: You killed them!
M: But I thought you liked them. They liked you.
R R: THEY DIDN'T LIKE ME! THEY NEVER LIKED ME!
You guys keep this up and we’ll have to bend a method of measuring decay out of shape once more.

OK a new one:
Gideon can make it so Dad's not dead any more!
a few hints:
This is a Christmas movie and IMHO probably one of the worst ones in the modern (post--Santa Claus Conquers the Martians) times; it includes a depressed town with the main employer closing right before Christmas (yep, an 80s movie), a mother who has to be taught to appreciate Christmas even when things don't look all that good, a father and 2 kids killed in a bank robbery (or are they?), a Christmas angel that looks like he is straight out of central casting for the guy you were told not to talk to as a kid (he even tells the kids not to tell anyone they see him or where they are going), a visit to St Nick to get everything made all better, and a ridiculous ending (but then Christmas is the magic season). In addition, it appears to be produced by the retail industry in that it seems to indicate that the mother was somehow a Scrooge because she didn't want to blow their savings on presents It was produced by Disney and makes many worst Christmas movie lists despite a stellar cast (and good performances by them as well).
