That movie looks quite incisive Jim; indeed, it looks like it concerns the eternal bi or tricuspid triangle. Rinse and spit now.

I'm sure that someone will guess the answer to this one in the long run, Long Run.

Jim's guess does raise the question of where tartar sauce actually comes from.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

This one is turning out to be a long slog. Here's the next quote:

CS: Well, what are you going to do now, shoot me?

B: No, I don't think so.

CS: [referring to the diamonds] Then you're going to take these from me? If I could say a word about that...

B: No, you can keep them. You can keep as many as you can swallow.

Fart.
[Trying unsuccessfully to open the door] How can you stand that?

LJ... "Jane Eyre?" C'mon, start playing the game a tad more serious.

And BSG has it!

I wanted to keep with the Dustin Hoffman motif.

Over to you, BSG!

I’m interjecting with this trailer, for a movie I can’t wait to see but also am loathe to attend - because it is, purportedly, the last ever film to be graced by the genius of Daniel Day Lewis.

It looks fantastic!

I’d also like to share some info with my fellow movie lovers, especially those of you also living on a fixed income and very tight budget, like me. I haven’t gone to the movies much in the past several years because of the rising prices and the frustration of shelling out and possibly having the experience ruined by theater goers who use the cell phone, can’t stop talking or allow their kids to run wild - sometimes at movies no kid should attend! But I’ve missed it nonetheless, because from earliest childhood - my first movie theater experience was Charlotte’s Web, 1973, when I wasn’t quite 3 years old - going TO the movies has been a passion.

So for a Xmas present to myself, I joined Movie Pass https://www.moviepass.com/register/account and now for $9.95/mo., I can go to the theater once a day if I wanted to! It’s a ridiculously good deal and who knows how long they’ll be in business - but you pay monthly so it’s not like you’d be risking a lot to sign up. Movie theater lovers, rejoice!

I’ll be back shortly with a new clue.

It is unacceptable that they use their power to keep us voiceless. As long as I am unable to use my constitutional right to vote, I do not have command of my own life. I cannot determine my own destiny. For it is determined for me by people who would rather see me suffer than succeed. Those that have gone before us say, ‘no more! No more!’ That means protest. That means march. That means disturb the peace. That means jail. That means risk. And that is hard. We will not wait any longer. Give us the vote. We’re not asking. We’re demanding. Give us the vote!

Daniel Day Lewis is a very quirky kind of guy. He believes in total character immersion and that kind of intensity wears many actors down. Unless he's dying of some undisclosed illness I'm sure he'll be back if he's given the right script.

I’m guessing he’s offered very good scripts on a very regular basis, so I don’t think it’s for lack of really good material. He is a very intense person and has quit acting before - to study woodworking and shoemaking for 5 years. He looked very healthy and happy at the Golden Globes, so I’m guessing he’s just found a new diversion he wants to focus on for a while and maybe thinks this time he’s so old it isn’t likely he’ll come back - but I recognize he’s quirky and I’d be thrilled if he showed up onscreen again. I would say he’s pretty nearly my favorite actor of contemporary times; we don’t get to see him much, but when we do it’s always sheer brilliance. I don’t know what kind of bank he’s made off his relatively short list of film roles, but I very much admire his work/life balance ethic.
