Name That Movie!
Re: Name That Movie!
If it's what I think it is, I know the lines from a play, but didn't know it had been filmed. Was it a theatrical film or a TV movie?
Re: Name That Movie!
Theatrical film.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Name That Movie!
OK, I'll hold off for a while, I wonder how many saw the film (or the play for that matter).
I just googled it and was surprised at the director; the casting seems interesting.
this is my favorite quote from the play (and I'm sure it was in the movie):
A: It's silly to be depressed by it. I mean, one thinks of it like being alive in a box. One keeps forgetting to take into account the fact that one is dead, which should make all the difference, shouldn't it? I mean, you'd never *know* you were in a box, would you? It would be just like you were asleep in a box. Not that I'd like to sleep in a box, mind you. Not without any air. You'd wake up dead for a start, and then where would you be? In a box. That's the bit I don't like, frankly. That's why I don't think of it. Because you'd be helpless, wouldn't you? Stuffed in a box like that. I mean, you'd be in there forever, even taking into account the fact that you're dead. It isn't a pleasant thought. Especially if you're dead, really. Ask yourself, if I asked you straight off, "I'm going to stuff you in this box. Now, would you rather be alive or dead?" naturally, you'd prefer to be alive. Life in a box is better than no life at all, I expect. You'd have a chance, at least. You could lie there thinking, "Well, at least I'm not dead. In a minute somebody is going to bang on the lid, and tell me to come out."
[bangs on lid]
B: "Hey you! What's your name? Come out of there!"
A: [long pause] I think I'm going to kill you.

Go ahead, RayThom...........I won't mind...............when you're on a roll, you're on a roll.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: Name That Movie!
Well if you din't want to do that, play the game and start dropping hints (although this title is pretty hard to hint about).
Re: Name That Movie!
It’s not like it’s Shakespeare or anything.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Name That Movie!
Perhaps. and I guess you knew it was a movie as well? I'm not surprised it was, but I am surprised I never heard of it.
Well, back to my lunch, and egg hamlet.

I recalled that a movie had been made out of it, but I haven't seen it...Perhaps. and I guess you knew it was a movie as well?

Open the gates!

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Looks like you have an image problem, BigRR. Looks like it wasn't a terrible movie, but took in well less than $1 million which is probably why I've never heard of it.Big RR wrote:OK
