Hiroshima...

Post by RayThom »

... then, and now.

I should have posted this a few days ago on the bombing anniversary. Sorry.

What's a little bomb amongst friends, right?

The Hiroshima syndrome is the reason that the Russians can beat us in a protracted arctic land war. We can’t match them in combat troops and no liberal president will use nukes of any kind to stop a Russian army.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

And your good buddy Donny would?  Hell, he's got his tongue so far up Putin's asshole that I'm surprised his hair hasn't turned brown from the dingleberries.

You kust keep talkin' like that, liberty.  And remember this — out of all the countries in the world who have ever developed nuclear weapons, the USA is the ONLY one to have ever used them in anger.

We've also employed fire bombing (Germany and Japan during WWII), carpet bombing (Operation Rolling Thunder) and massive and indiscriminate spraying of aerial chemicals (Operation Ranch Hand) over large portions of Viet Nam, and a bombastic display of non-nuclear firepower dubbed "shock and awe" in Operation Desert Storm over a country that had about as much chance of standing off that attack as would have Monaco or Luxembourg.  And if you think that the Ohio-class boomers and the Los Angeles-class attack subs are out there with empty missile and torpedo tubes — or that they are armed but would not launch them if the order ever came down — you are sadly mistaken.

But WE are the pussies?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

lib has not yet caught on to Donny Dump's clever plan to eliminate the Arctic before the Russians can place an order for regular camouflage. Those white parkas and pants are going to stand out like mule deer scut.

Headmaster Dumboldwhore has promised the NRA it'll be open-season on Russkies in a year or two. Keep those weapons ready - they work out in the field, not just in schools, stores, clubs and churches!

Is that not a lie?
