As we all look for time killing diversions, I thought it would be a good time to bring back the Slate News Quiz:
Slate news quiz for April 3rd, 2020
8/12 for 358 badly needed ventilators...

11/12 for 516 N95 masks.
Nobody’s gonna beat that score.
(Yes, I’ve done nothing all week except watch videos and obsessively refresh a half dozen favorite news sites on my phone. I did miss the social media question because except for Facebook I’m out of that loop entirely. Thanks Jim for resuscitating the thread. Get to work, Gob.)

7/12 for 328 sorry friends of Trump contacted by Kushner who told him that NY hospitals were short of supplies. I am grateful for those friends because how would we have known otherwise? Obviously that's another few thousand lives saved by Trump.

6/12 for a COVID-19 score of 254.

7/12 for 309 little anxious COVID-19 viruses sitting atop the next microphone that Trump is going to use to tell how many lives he has saved.
Re: Another Weekly Quiz
With so much of the news being taken over by the corona virus, I missed a lot of these stories. I managed a pathetic 5/12 and 219 more virus news stories. There were a couple I should have gotten right, but I clicked before I read all of the multiple guesses. All I seem to see is virus news, over and over.

We can only hope.
Of course, if he did take sick and die of COVID, he'd become a bigger martyr/president than Lincoln and JFK combined.

Only to the insanely stupid.
Please oh please let that smug motherfucker Jared Kushner get the worst case of covid ever. I don’t care if that makes me a terrible human being, I would crack open my bottle of Laphroaig to celebrate that event.
