Public Memorial for Lord Jim

Post by Guinevere »

All - LJ’s sister created a kudos board for him and asked me to share it with the group. You can find it here:

Please feel free to sign in and post to it. Please also share with others who aren’t around much. I’ve sent it along to AndyH and Sue.

I’m not, and have lost touch with him. If you wouldn’t mind sharing with him, or asking him to reach out to me in facebook, please.

You mean HipBob (THBR), not BobB.

Yes, I am connected to him and have let him know. Sparrowgrass and rbarr as well. I asked them
to reach out to some other former Cafe Dartre posters they were in touch with.

I also connected with Smitty, Bones, Juno, Denis, and bluefrog from the old Cafe Dartre. So a pretty good representation of some of the old timers who knew him.

Hmm, good ol' BobB from Redding CA, right? I haven't heard from him in years.

I know Tibber is still around but is BobB still on this side of the sod?

Days are long... years are short.

Has anyone notified Older? I think someone here has his email address.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

BobB suddenly stopped posting and visiting (or at least logging in) at LCH around summer 2015 IIRC. I noted it at the time but no-one seemed to have his email or any information about him.

I have an old one, I'll try that.
