Yes. You should feel a lot of guilt for having done this. You should say three Hail Marys and one Lord's Prayer to be forgiven and to clear your conscience.Crackpot wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 2:15 pm...This time as I dropped it in the toilet I felt nature call (no.1) so I decide to take care of 2 things with one flush. As my bladder empties the thought crosses my mind: Am I being disrespectful to the life I just ended? Am I desecrating it’s corpse or worse adding another insult to a life slowly ebbing away soon to be drowned?

Well another week of testing goes by and I am still covid negative. Sorry for those hoping otherwise.

Scooter,
Do you the know they’d let me into Canada on the grounds of “I gotta get out of this stupid fucking country for a bit”?

I did forward this question to the CBSA but I was informed (via Auto response) that my inquiry may not be answered due to my use of profanity.
Could I really expect any different?

You'd have to switch careers to becoming a trucker of essential goods, or maybe marry a Canadian resident, or something similar that will get you exempted to cross the border.

Your wife is a nurse. Check out that angle. Insist on being a package deal.

Well, if you actually believe liberty's bullshit about the coming Russkie invasion, you can always emigrate from across the Pole. According to him, we here in the West — Canada OR the US — lack the manpower or the will to stop anyone coming from that direction.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Are people with photographic memories born with that ability?

Like much of our immune system, they get it from breastfeeding and not at birth. Of course it only works if the mother has photographic mammaries. (See eye candy thread for details.)
Re: Home for Random Thoughts
There is actually substantive evidence that babies born by Caesarian section and subsequently breastfed do not develop as robust early immunity as babies who pass through the toxic stew of the birth canal.ex-khobar Andy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 12:51 pmLike much of our immune system, they get it from breastfeeding and not at birth. Before he became "Casper the Friendly Ghost", do you suppose he was "Casper the Friendly Human"?

Re: Home for Random Thoughts
Casper actually has an origin story; motherless boy (she died in childbirth) who died of pneumonia age 12 after spending too many hours out sledding. He stays around to be a ghost to keep an eye on his grieving father.

Yesterday, I read out to my wife the subject of 13 messages in my email spam folder. Such things as
solar panels
energy booster
thyroid medicine
soft erection
7-in-1 power saw
hotel booking
From another room she called out, "Can I pick one?"

I had a prostate biopsy the other day, which for various reasons had about eight people in attendance with a task to do and/or observing. And I thought as I lay there that it had been many years since that many people had been standing around watching me get probed in the ass. And the combination of the need for the procedure and that thought suddenly made me feel old.

Re: Home for Random Thoughts
Following up on my previous post, the email merchants remain as keen as ever to engage my interest. But I think the latest gambit isn't much of a winner.
I am offered "Pictures of your wife (naked)".
The subject line may be longer than that but since I never open these kinds of email, that's all I see of the enticement
