Capitol Police rejected offers of federal help to quell mobIn the aftermath, a 7-foot fence will go up around the Capitol grounds for at least 30 days. The Capitol Police will conduct a review of the carnage, as well as their planning and policies. Lawmakers plan to investigate how authorities handled the rioting.

So the death toll is now up to 5;
1) Capitol police shot the MAGAt who tried to propel herself through the broken window of the door into the House chamber, despite numerous warnings to stay back and mindful that these folks had stormed into the building without being screened for weapons,
2) One MAGAt got trampled to death by her MAGAt comrades on the floor of the Rotunda,
3) One MAGAt suffered a heart attack,
4) One MAGAt suffered a stroke,
and
5) The MAGAts beat a Capitol police officer so badly he went into hospital and has now died.

So that should be five counts of felony murder for each and every maggot (alteration intended) who took part in the coup attempt.

I was talking about the double standard; if the left burns down a business someone spent a lifetime building it is a protest, but if the other side breaks a window it is a riot. Do you remember when leftist drove the police out of four blocks of Seattle and set up their own government none of you people were out-raged by that; fucking bunch of hypocrites.Big RR wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 6:22 pmAre you really serious Liberty? It wasn't a riot? Windows were smashed; bombs (or at least flash bangs) went off, doors were broken down , files and other things were ransacked, trash strewn throughout building. Not to mention that this was a building to which access was severely restiircted which was attacked by a crowd. I'll agree that there was no fire so far as I know, but you seriously think it was not a riot? I didn' think you could surprise me, but you did.![]()

Another Pair of Aces:
Trump supporter wears work badge during Capitol riot, promptly gets fired
Washington.Jose Luis Magana/AP
Navistar Direct Marketing, a Maryland-based firm, announced it has fired an employee who was seen wearing his work badge inside the Capitol as a member of the pro-Trump mob that stormed the building Wednesday.
The unnamed employee — who was wearing a "Trump" hat and holding a flag — was spotted wearing the badge around his neck, and the logo on it was subsequently identified as belonging to Navistar Direct Marketing (NDM).
On Thursday morning, the county announced the employee's termination.
"Navistar Direct Marketing was made aware that a man wearing a Navistar company badge was seen inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 during the security breach," the company wrote in a statement. "After review of the photographic evidence the employee in question has been terminated for cause.
"While we support all employee’s right to peaceful, lawful exercise of free speech, any employee demonstrating dangerous conduct that endangers the health and safety of others will no longer have an employment opportunity with Navistar Direct Marketing."

Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
I don't think an officer was beaten and died yesterday at the Capitol. I searched and can only find conflicting reports - some saying the report of an officer's death was "inaccurate". I hope we eventually get the real story. I'm sure there will be a lot more detailed stories related to Trump's riot in the days to come..
Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
It was just announced on MSNBC that a Capitol police officer has died. Yesterday was when I’d heard in some of the hours of coverage I watched that one of the media correspondents in the Capitol was asserting a Capitol police officer was assaulted and taken to hospital in critical condition.
So yes there was an inaccurate report and it seems the most recent reporting is that he’s on life support waiting for family to be with him when he dies. He was hit with a fire extinguisher, it seems, and had a stroke.
A Capitol Police officer who was seriously injured Wednesday remains on life support
Worth mentioning that the report also says other Capitol POs were hospitalized.
Fucking terrorists. Fucking MAGAts/maggots.

Thanks for the info. Trump needs to be held liable for all of this...
Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
On another note, while watching coverage yesterday I saw at least one terrorist carrying a bundle of zip ties and now in media reports of damage to the Capitol I’m reading that a whole duffel bag full of zip ties was left in the building by MAGAts.
What do you think they were going to do to the Congresscritters after they took them hostage? (Bonus points for creativity in your conjecture.)
Did anyone else see the coverage of other coordinated incidents at state capitals around the country? And that pipe bombs were planted outside the DNC and RNC?
I’m thinking the FBI hasn’t been putting real effort into lurking on Parler and other conservative social media where this terrorism was all coordinated in the wide open.

Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
I came across this:
12:20 a.m.
The U.S. Capitol Police are reporting that Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick died Thursday night due to injuries sustained while on-duty during the Wednesday riots at the Capitol.
The report said Sicknick was responding to the riots , at the U.S. Capitol and was injured while physically engaging with protesters. He returned to his division office and collapsed. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The death of Officer Sicknick will be investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch, the Capitol Police and federal investigatorss.
Democratic leaders of the House Appropriations Committee said the “tragic loss” of a Capitol police officer “should remind all of us of the bravery of the law enforcement officers who protected us, our colleagues, Congressional staff, the press corps and other essential workers″ during the hourslong takeover of the Capitol by pro-Trump protesters.

No evidence of antifa supporters
As the events were unfolding, many social media users, especially those associated with QAnon and supporters of President Trump, were claiming that agitators from the loose-knit left-wing group antifa were involved.
The implication was that these activists were disguised as Trump supporters to create disruption.
A number of prominent Republican politicians, such as US Representative Matt Gaetz, claimed it was antifa masquerading as Trump supporters.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
And with regards to that veteran (or that 'innocent lady', as she was referred to by the numbnuts in the item posted above by Scooter), identified as Ashli Babbitt:At least six Republican state legislators took part in events surrounding the storming of the US Capitol. West Virginia Delegate Derrick Evans posted a video of himself entering the building but later deleted it, The New York Times reported.
Tennessee state lawmaker Terri Lynn Weaver told the Tennessean that she was “in the thick of it” during the rally before the storming of the Capitol. She said there was “Just a whole heck of a lot of patriots here". She later tweeted a picture of the mob at the base of the Capitol, saying: “Epic and historic day gathering with fellow Patriots from all over the nation DC.”
Virginia state Senator Amanda Chase denied that any violence had taken place, despite the overwhelming evidence, and later accused the police of murder after the shooting of a California woman inside the Capitol. "A veteran who was brutally murdered by Capitol Police today,” Chase wrote on Facebook according to the Henrico Citizen. (btw, more on this "veteran who was brutally murdered" below) “These were not rioters and looters; these were Patriots who love their country and do not want to see our great republic turn into a socialist country. I was there with the people; I know. Don’t believe the fake media narrative," she wrote.
Missouri State Representative Justin Hill skipped his swearing-in ceremony to be in DC. He marched to the Capitol but didn’t enter, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reported him as saying.
Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano made sure that a busload of people could be in DC. He said in a video that he didn’t participate in the clashes with police, The Hill reported.
Michigan State Representative Matt Maddock was also at the scene, according to The Hill.
This comes as the FBI and DC Police released images of people wanted on federal charges for violently storming the US Capitol. They are trying to track down 36 people after 68 were already arrested after violent clashes with police as the Trump-supporting mob broke into the Capitol, forcing members of Congress to evacuate and seek shelter in undisclosed locations. Four rioters died and 56 officers were injured in the ensuing chaos. One officer remains in hospital after being beaten and tased by the mob.
Charges include inciting a riot and weapons violations. Rioters scaled the Capitol building, defaced statues, committed countless acts of vandalism and fought with police.

Frankly, with people like these already there, who needed Antifa??'Nothing can stop us': Slain Trump supporter tweeted conspiracy theories and her devotion to Trump in days before her death
An Air Force veteran named Ashli Babbitt was fatally shot while storming the US Capitol alongside a violent pro-Trump mob on Wednesday. Babbitt was active on social media, where posts indicate she was steeped in an echo chamber of conspiracy theories supporting President Donald Trump and QAnon. Some of her posts called out Democratic lawmakers, including Vice President-elect Kamala Harris and Rep. Maxine Waters of California, with Babbitt saying she was putting them "on notice."
Ashli Babbitt's Twitter account said she loved "my dude, my dog, & above all, my country." On Wednesday, Babbitt, a 14-year veteran of the Air Force who ardently supported President Donald Trump and also dabbled in conspiracy theories over social media, died during a rampage at the US Capitol. Law-enforcement officials told NBC News of her death, and the police confirmed the news to The Washington Post. MSNBC reported that a law-enforcement officer fired the fatal shot.
Babbitt was one of hundreds of Trump supporters who, at the president's suggestion earlier Wednesday, descended on the Capitol to protest the confirmation of President-elect Joe Biden's victory against Trump. Photos and videos of Babbitt inside the Capitol before, during, and after she was shot were shared across social media, and after her death her husband told local media in San Diego — where she was believed to reside — that Babbitt was an ardent Trump supporter.
Babbitt's social-media posts leading up to her death give a clearer idea of her decision to head to Washington.
Babbitt regularly expressed support for Trump on social media. While she didn't tweet much herself, she was an ardent retweeter of conservative and right-wing figures, including Michael Flynn and Jack Posobiec, and conservative news sites like Right Side Broadcasting.
On January 5, in reply to a tweet that said: "A lot of flights into DC are being canceled with no bad weather. The entire world is corrupt," Babbitt responded, "Nothing will stop us. They can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon DC in less than 24 hours. Dark to light!"
She also regularly endorsed Q-Anon conspiracy theories on Twitter. In a series of photos posted in early September, Babbitt attended a pro-Trump boat parade in San Diego, sporting a Q-Anon T-shirt and including the group's "Where we go one, we go all" slogan in the caption.

Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
If they were such patriots, why did they graffiti inside the Capitol? Why did they damage or destroy statues or art or anything whatsoever besides the glass or doors that were in the way of getting inside?
If they’d forced their way in and occupied the Capitol peacefully in a mass sit-in or something, maybe I’d have some compassion - that they were just defending their crazy beliefs he’s brainwashed them with.
But smashing things that didn’t need smashing? Vandalizing the offices? Bringing zip ties doubtless intended for Congresspeople? Hitting police with fire extinguishers and whatever else that landed one in the morgue and others hospitalized?
Fuck those fascist red hats. Make some rooms ready in the federal big houses because those scum ain’t patriot protesters, they’re criminals.

Re: Insurrectionists have breached the Capitol
Donald Trump’s belated “concession” to a peaceful and orderly transition of power after the storming of the US Capitol has provoked anger and conspiracy theories among some of his most ardent followers.
For some of those who flocked to social media channels and chatrooms like Parler and 4chan, where far-right Trumpists have gravitated, as other social media sites have increasingly shut out Trump, some were complaining of betrayal.
Trump, claiming he was “outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem” of the Capitol siege that he incited, said those who “broke the law will pay” in a move perhaps designed more to protect himself from mounting legal and political hazard than reflecting a newfound sense of contrition and integrity.
This promoted an outpouring of anger and grief and denial from his hardline acolytes. “A punch in the gut,” said one. “A stab in the back” another railed. From a third: “I feel like puking.”
A widely shared screengrab summed up the sentiment of this group. “He says it’s going to be wild and when it gets wild he calls it a heinous attack and middle-fingers to his supporters he told to be there.”
Others turned to conspiracy theories, not least in the dark corners of the online world of 4chan and Parler, where the cult of QAnon holds sway. Many in these places saw not a Trump concession forced on him by his dangerous and insurrectionary behaviour, but either a “deep fake” video concocted by Trump’s enemies, or they scoured for evidence of secret messages that indicated Trump was still on track to deliver on QAnon’s deranged promises.
“FAK fake fake He’s been locked out of his Twitter he can’t get into it he couldn’t get into it he couldn’t get into today it’s been closed out for ever,” opined someone called Magafree, while Brenda amplified the theory. “He has a plan here President Trump would not back down that easily. We need to stand strong, keep watch and pray. Something big is coming and Gid [God] is going to see it through.”
But the reactions of the more mainstream parts of the Trump-era echo chamber have been the most instructive. Sites such as Breitbart and the Daily Caller appear to have swung into line behind an emerging Republican consensus that has become increasingly hostile to Trump, blaming him not only for the storming of Congress, but also for delivering the presidency, the House of Representatives, and, on Tuesday, the Senate to the Democrats.
Breitbart’s main story on Trump’s concession video was delivered in a relatively straight way, although the site tried to spin it as a Trump “change of tone”, suggesting all he had done was “return to his campaign theme of law and order”.
The comments below were, however, rather less mannered and careful. “There will NEVER be ‘reconciliation’,” wrote Freedomring17. “We have irreconcilable differences, and the fight has just begun. We need to disown the RNC until they support the Patriot party.”
For “NMP” the consequence was obvious and Trump part of the problem. “He could have declared martial law, like Flynn said, instead he got patroits [sic] to show their face and they did and now they know who they are looking for.”
For the bitter-enders, like TrumpSupporterLTD, the sentiments were much like the QAnon crowd over on 4chan – an almost metaphysical belief that Trump, despite the wealth of evidence, continues to move in mysterious ways
“Trump did not concede. He used language to buy a little extra time because the senators and congressmen who support him are being threatened with dirty bombs and their families’ lives by the Deep State and/or communist Chinese … I have it on good grounds that Trump will be moving with the military And regarding the transition to a new administration, means Trump with a new VP Pence is obviously a traitor and is ‘fired’.”
