If you think that her words were twisted to make her look ridiculous, listen to her own words. It sounds even more whacked out when she tells it.

If you were an alien who could imitate anyone tp have sex with their wife/girlfriend, would you waste time trying to have sex with her?

If male aliens are much like male Homo sapiens, yup.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Point taken, but she'd still be at the end of a very long line.

I'm a bit unclear on Xerxes' role in all this. He is generally thought to have been a Good Chap; although after his death his reputation suffered a bit because he was bad-mouthed by Alexander the Great.

Well apparently "other Derek" answered her refusal to believe that he was "real Derek" by then claiming to be Xerxes, which she seems to think was a bit of a stretch!

From the Newsweek report

Wow! Unfortunately there are other nut jobs out there who believe her.
Maybe she was married to Xerxes all along, and never knew it until that fateful night. Those darned lizard people. A lady just can't trust them.

Maybe it was another Xerxes, no relation?
