Yes indeed Gen'l, Happy Birthday. I have a sister-in-law with a birthday tomorrow. She is also a twin. She has, rarely and with sighs, talked about her birthday being swallowed by Christmas, and always shared with a sister.

Wish you a good day today with lots of personal attention.

Thank you. As you were.

Didn't you just have one a year ago?

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Ladies and gentlemen, the toast:

"To Meade!  For the most part, an all-around nice guy."

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Happy birthday, belated.

HB, Meade!! Too late as usual, I'm sure. Just think of me as being early for the next one.

OK I give up, Meth. What's a Senion Geezer?

Belated (once again, as usual for me) happy birthday, Meade!

And while I'm thinking of it: belated happy birthday next year!

And many more...

As the Cohen said in his last poem, Listen to the butterfly, don't listen to me.

I am glad you are still around.
