When I was young and foolish, I met a Canadian young person on a trip to Europe on $5 a day (it was a thing back then - 1960s). She informed me that the difference between Canadian girls and US girls is that the Americans came to Europe hoping to get laid while the Canadians came to Europe hoping to get laid in the Sistine Chapel.
