On the subject of voting

Post by BoSoxGal »

Just a sweet reminder of what we once had . . .

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

WASHINGTON – First lady Melania Trump and son Barron, like President Donald Trump himself, just voted by mail in the March 24 special election in Palm Beach, Florida, even though Trump has spent years attacking mail-in voting as "mail-in cheating" that's susceptible to fraud.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Well of course it's fine for him n' his, but fuck everyone else.

Since he mailed it in, I guess we can all assume he's cheating. They all are.

When asked why he was voting by mail, he said, "Because I'm the king the President of the United States."    Seriously. (link)
He claims he cast his ballot in Florida by mail because he "has a lot of different things", and "because I felt I should be here [in DC] instead of being in the beautiful sunshine".

What I'd like to know is how a convicted felon (on 34 counts in NY) is allowed to vote at all?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

He was also playing golf within spitting distance of his district's electoral office exactly during their early voting period. And neither his wife nor Too-tall Jones are president.
