Teachers facebook, and meddlesome ratbags

Drinking and pole dancing, a group of primary school teachers pose for a series of unsavoury images they saw fit to publish on Facebook. Six female teachers, including the deputy head, are pictured in Army gear at a raucous hen party which parents have described as ‘shocking’. In one image one of the women, wearing a skimpy skirt, is seen with her leg wrapped provocatively around a pole. Other photos show them flashing their knickers, downing cocktails, smoking and flicking V-signs.

Because the teachers’ Facebook profiles were not set to private, the images could be seen by anyone. A parent of one pupil at the school spotted the pictures, printed off five pages of them and posted them through neighbours’ front doors. She included a letter which read:

‘If you are as appalled as I am by these images which these tramps post freely for the world to see, how safe are our children? ‘Answer, not very! Children might be seeing these images.
‘What does this tell you about this school and how it is being run? ‘These women teach my children, but not for much longer. I say remove the scum and get Mr Pickard [the previous head] back in to sort out this mess before it gets any worse.’

The teachers, from Langland Community School in Milton Keynes, were on a night out in the city where they teach. Mother-of-four Janette Bobey, 50, who received the pictures through her letter box last week, described them as shocking. ‘I spoke to the school and they were aware of it and the head has spoken to the teachers and told them to be more careful,’ she said.

My only problem with it is there were no teachers like that when I was at school.

I suppose the wider issue is, are teachers allowed to let their hair down outside of school? And the inevitable fucking faceboak question...

Oh, for those of you unaquainted with Viz..

The only thing these women are "guilty" of is not setting their facebook contents to private only!

Whatever ages these teachers teach they need to destress and have downtime in which ever way they see fit.

They are not pupils or parents puppets.

As long they are professional in their teaching and setting a good example in classroom i would have no problem with them teaching my son. What goes on in their own lives when they leave work for the day is their business.

I take my hat off to teachers. I know i could not do it. I would quite likely slap a child or tell them to fuck orf. If this is how they cope with stress so be it. Better a teacher goes out with the girls slides down a stripper pole and has a few drinkies than a stressed out teacher who cannot cope who yells and rages at the kids because they are stressed out!

Or posting them in the first place.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

I was believing this story right up to this point...
The teachers, from Langland Community School in Milton Keynes, were on a night out in the city where they teach.
Why the fuck would anyone go for a night out in Milton Keynes?
Shenanigans!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

The National Labor Relations Board is starting to go after companies for firing employees based on Facebook postings. They have filed at least two complaints in the past week. We shall see how it all plays out . . .

One of the kids in my outpatient group went and posted a picture on his facbook page of him drinking a beer.

Factual errors:
That's not a skimpy skirt. I don't think it's a skirt at all. It looks like a pair of cut-offs.

That's not "wrapped around". It's alongside.

And lastly, that's not a "pole". It's a damned support beam!
