Who's fault is it if someone steps on dog shit?

The dog, the dog owner, or the people who don't watch where they're walking?

It's time to stop blaming everyone else for the shit that people put their feet into.

It's a good thing to clean up after your animal.

It's better to know that you should not blame other animals for your inability to recognize the shit that lies in your path.

So you enjoyed stepping in dog shit. Thanks for clarifying.

I don't how you came to that conclusion.

I pay attention to where I'm walking and don't step on shit or other things that are in my way.

I don't find it difficult to avoid things in my path.

but people who own them should pick up after them in public places & in natural settings.
Around here it's the law.
I pay attention to where I'm walking and don't step on shit or other things that are in my way.
I can remember when I wa a kid, stepping in dog $h!t at least once a month or so. Back then (before laws) it was almost unaviodable. There were no "curb your dog" laws so some of it ended up on sidewalks or on your front lawn (and we didn't even have a dog).

Do you find the majority of folks where you live follow the law regarding dog poo pick-up? The only place I've ever seen it followed closely was when I lived on Capitol Hill.

You might think you do, but you don't; the fact is that when people walk, they generally look ahead, or sometimes around, but as a rule they don't stare at their feet. If you were actually "paying attention to where [you're] walking" you would be bumping into things/people all the time. Which is why stepping in dog shit, or gum, or puddles, is not such a rarity.

Whatever happened to white dog cronk?
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Black dogs started producing it and there was a negative impact.

Yes, the majority of people I see wlaking dogs do carry a plastic bag and either a surgical glove or pooper scooper, so I assume they are picking up after their dogs.

When I first moved in to this area (some 26 years ago in July) there was a guy who walked his dog and it always shit in front of my house. I asked him to stop but to no avail. I followed him one day and found where he lived. The next day he had a pile of his dogs shit on his front stoop. Don't know if he picked up after his dog after that as he must have found a new route as I never saw him walking his dog around here again.

Greer's been sharing her "wisdom" on BBC question time..
‘I think in this case one of those legends is going to appear about the hated enemy,’ said the Australian women’s lib campaigner. ‘All soldiers in certain circumstances will rape regardless of whether they are ours or theirs or whoevers.’

In other remarks that triggered anger, Germaine Greer claimed young girls could be sexualised by ‘kissing their fathers goodnight’. Responding to a question about a report by the Mothers’ Union on the issue of the sexualisation of children, she said girls had always badgered their mothers for clothes to make them look older and for Barbie dolls.

‘There’s always been this sinister culture that has gone along and it has always been sexual,’ she said. ‘The Barbie doll herself is a fetish, she’s descended from a sex toy. Little girls learn to flirt with their fathers.’ She continued: ‘You know, “Kiss daddy goodnight” – and all this sort of business. ‘And you wonder whether what’s happening in marketing is responsible or whether it is actually causing it.’

Around here, most people are pretty good about it. It takes time to educate people and get them to comply.
