Proof of Citizenship
Proof of Citizenship
In an effort to not completely disrupt that Santorum/Baggage thread, I'm moving the discussion between quad and I regarding his claiming that a voter registration card is proof of citizenship "in and of itself" to this thread.
He now claims he didn't say that and is going to provide proof.

Re: Proof of Citizenship
And while you're providing proof, quad, it would be a good time for you to cut & paste the "mandatory" complaint that you filed at your job that had to do with me harassing you.
You know, the one you were going to post within a couple of days a couple of years ago...

If you are going to fabricate what I said, then why stop there....I am sure you can work penguins and martians into the subject matter as well.
My link I gave on the other page, restated here has not changed one word in over 3 years.
Carry on.,

Re: Proof of Citizenship
You may have posted that link all those years ago. I don't remember. What I do remember is that you usually don't give anything to support your statements.
But if you did give the same link, then you proved yourself wrong back then. And I very likely told you that at the time.
What I'm wondering about now is whether you will give a link to the discussion once you read what you actually wrote at the time.
My guess is that you will say that you did not receive the information from Garaelb as you requested and you'll go away for a while and hope I forget about it.
Like you did with that other cutting & pasting promise you made... [hint; it had to do with you accusing me of forgery, so you were mandated by the federal government to report me]

Re: Proof of Citizenship
What a shock!!
quad has refused to answer my direct questions and has disappeared.
It's interesting how people who lie and/or refuse to admit to being wrong don't seem to have the ability to answer a direct question.
Further, people who lie and/or refuse to admit to being wrong don't seem to have the ability to realize that others see the obvious.

Re: Proof of Citizenship
I'm still waiting to get the link to that other forum that were observing us like lab rats as promised by ol' Quaddy.
My guess is that his efforts were hindered slightly by the fact that it doesn't exist...

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Or....I didnt spend my friday night on the computer....
yanno joey, you had some changes in your life in 2011 that might have forced you to grow up and become self sufficient, at least that was the last hope.
It appears, its all for not.

Re: Proof of Citizenship
A voter registration card should be proof of citizenship or someone should go to prison.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.
Re: Proof of Citizenship
Well. in order to put someone in prison, there has to be a violation of the law. Here's how easy it it is to register in California:
To use this form to register to vote, you will need:
In other words, you can register under any name you choose, without any identification whatsoever, not even a social security number.
I admit that it's absolutely ridiculous that this is permitted, but it is what it is. Therefore, for a California voter registration card to serve as a proof of citizenship would be an utter absurdity.
It is literally tougher to obtain a library card in the state of California than it is to obtain a voter registration card:
At least to obtain a library card, you have to provide some form of identification and show up in person.
Standards not required to register to vote.
To use this form to register to vote, you will need:

Your California driver license or identification number, if you have one, or the last four digits of your social security number, if you have one. If you do not have any of these numbers, the state will assign you a unique identification number.
A paper printer so you can print the voter registration form, sign it, and mail it to your county elections official.

Applications are available at the Main Library and all branches and are to be submitted in person.

Re: Proof of Citizenship
the more important question is why CA goes to such lengths to make registration insecure? after 9/11 the process became much more rigid and controlled by federal mandate and was adopted in my state. apparently not in CA. Why?
Re: Proof of Citizenship
A quick search on how to register to vote in Pennsylvania shows that it is no different than in California. You are asked to give a drivers license number, last four digits of a Social Security number, or if you don't have either, check a box.quaddriver wrote:after 9/11 the process became much more rigid and controlled by federal mandate and was adopted in my state.

You can view an application for registering in Pennslyvania here if you click on "Voter Registration Mail Application form."
Fill it out without an SSN or DL number and you can get your card within two weeks.

Re: Proof of Citizenship
no it wont, fill it in without either and the other is gleaned from the database, fill it out with neither and you will be instructed to go to the county registration office to prove who you are. as LJ pointed out, there is no standard of proof in CA.Joe Guy wrote:Fill it out without an SSN or DL number and you can get your card within two weeks.
you of course can try to prove me wrong.
you do not have a PADL, you can make up a ss number or not use one, however, every citizen must have a SSN so go ahead, fill it in and tell us how it goes....
Re: Proof of Citizenship
I have produced the application, which specifically states to check a box if you don't have an SSN or DL. At the bottom of the application it says you will receive your registration card within two weeks.
I've produced documented evidence to support what I wrote.
You claim I'm wrong.
Prove it.

I'll take that as an admission that you have no proof.quaddriver wrote:then fill it in and send it...

Re: Proof of Citizenship
Ill take that as an admission that you know it wont work. given that the document says if there is a problem you will be expected to goto a service center, and it goes thru the trouble of listing said service centers.
You assert you can get a card in 2 weeks without either form of ID. You use as proof incomplete snippets gleaned from a document, ignoring over 90% of it. It is up to you, not me, to prove that you can get a voter ID card with no id in 2 weeks.
but given that you are who you are, I dont expect you will actually try to prove your assertion
