A Request: Can We Cut Down On The Sticky Threads

Post by Lord Jim »

It occurred to me when I just started a new thread in this forum, that we now have so many sticky threads here that when a new thread is started it shows up almost halfway down the page. It looks to me like some of them have exhausted their usefulness and could be made "unsticky"...

Here are some suggestions for the chop:

"When should we do a Plan B recall? ": That related specifically to contacting posters to try to get them back here after all the server problems we had. Doesn't really seem all that relevant now.

"Please ignore the spammers. ": Everybody knows about this, the problem has been virtually eliminated, and no one has posted in this thread since last August.

"Sticky board suggestions page!" Might have been a good idea, but nobody uses it; whenever anyone has a new suggestion, they just start a new thread. No posts in this thread in over a year.

"A request to the membership." This was put up when the board was first established, to discourage discussions about the CSB. It didn't work, and now it's of dubious value since the CSB does not currently exist. No posts in a year and a half.

(the other picture was just vile...)
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
