obviously, a combination of things. Maybe training together has something to do with it.
There would be nothing racist to point out that they are all of black-African ancestry, but so are a couple billion other folks, who can't run as fast.
I was amazed that there was a white guy in the finals of the 200 (I didn't see the 100 final). That guy should get a medal just for showing up.
The African genome is richer than all of the populations which left Africa thousands of years ago. All of the other strands have been differentiated by subtraction of genes which were lost to selective pressures over time and by random losses; a population of a few hundred or thousand might have only a few members who carry a particular allele who might be lost 'accidentally' (drought, fire, avalanche, cold, loss of fertility) and not due to the negative survival value of a particular gene.
Because of this it would not be surprising to have more phenotypic 'outliers' in their group then all others; people who are unusually fast, strong, tall &c. When they have equal access to education and professional training we will probably see the same thing in intellectual pursuits as well.
Dales, Africa has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS in the world; that has nothing to do with genetics.
I understand that much of the African roots of Jamaica, come from the people of Ethiopia. It's not racist to note that many running marathons are won by folks from Ethiopia and Kenya. I think they're infused with the spirits and grace of gazelles.
"The black is a better athlete to begin with because he's been bred to be that way, because of his high thighs and big thighs that go up to his back, and they can jump higher and run faster because of their bigger thighs. And he's bred to be the better athlete because this goes all the way back to the Civil War, when during the slave trade the slave owner would breed his big black to his big woman so he could have a big black kid."
On it's face, it certainly sounds like one to me....

Yeah, so.
Look at the data from the 1960's (before HIV) same results of short life spans as compared to whites.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

If I am reading you correctly you are saying that blacks are inherently superior to honkeyoids and Chineseoids. Why is that not racist? While we are on the subject of why blacks tend to be stronger let me present my theory: Life on the slave ships was so hard the weak died leaving only a strong population of individuals to produce stronger children. Conclusion is that a hard life produces stronger individuals. It is not an idea that I can take credit for; it is over two thousand years old and goes back to the Spartans.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.
Japanese in Japan have a higher life expectancy than US residents. Japanese in the US have a life expectancy similar to the general U.S. population. The two groups with the highest life expectancy in the world (per a study published in National Geographic several years ago) are Okinawans and U.S. Seventh-Day-Adventists which fairly conclusively shows that lifestyle is a dominant factor.
Stop being an asshole?
Genetics does not determine outcomes alone but it can determine the limits of what is possible. You may have the genes to be a track star but eat junk food and smoke and wind up looking like a sausage and wheezing like a busted calliope at 25.
A population with a wider and deeper genome has the potential to produce more people at the extremes of human ability (both up and down).

Ok, in that case I withdraw my question.
