Only grown-up men are scared of women.

I know this one, and I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that 100% of the people here have heard of this movie....(And anybody who has never seen it should be too embarrassed to admit it... 8-) )

Oh, now there's a surprise! (Not the grammar; the sentiment)

"Only grown-up men are scared of women", eh?

Behind the Green Door? (I've heard it's one of LJ's favorites)

You can take your place in the gutter next to Strop and CP, Meade... :nana

This movie is just about as far from a porno flick as one can possibly imagine...

Meade you really do need to decide - sinner or saint?

(And yes, you know this movie and you're smart-ass guess will make you blush when you see the name)

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Since I know the answer - our all time family favorite, we have been to the beautiful town where the movie was set several times, stayed at the Lodge where the family ended up (in VT), and I even acted in the stage version (in high school):

Can one delete a post with no record, in the first x minutes?

You posted about BB's guess and asked me to answer so no one else would embarrass themselves - and I had just posted.....

It has been my experience that one can delete a post without leaving a trace (or edit a post without leaving the "edited one time @ XX:XX" breadcrumb) so long as it is done before someone puts up a following post.

And that wasn't really a guess on my part.  I was trying to be funny.

Your post actually came up before mine Guin, so when I saw you had already answered, I was able to delete my post because no one had posted after me yet.

I believe that's how it works...

That you can delete a post until another post appears after it.

I knew that for editing, I thought deletion was different. I guess not.

Next one - since LJ confirmed I'm correct and I'm heading to the beach shortly:
Quite frankly, I didn't even want to use you guys, with your dip and velcro and all your gear bullshit. I wanted to drop a bomb. But people didn't believe in this lead enough to drop a bomb. So they're using you guys as canaries.
Loved this film, which was an unlikely type of "chick flick."

The line refers to 'dip' — this is obviously "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" !!

I'll tell you what I found really funny about that Bill...

I immediately imagined a self-destructive drunken relationship between Maria and Captain Von Trapp... :D
