Jones is now up by 9,000 with plenty of votes still left where he's performing strongly...

The NYT now has his chances of winning up to 95%...

I expect we'll start to see network winner projections very soon...

CNN and FOX both now calling the race for Jones...(MSNBC is holding out)
Thrilled. Revived.
That probably describes Mitch McConnel's mood too... 8-)

I'm sure he was not looking forward to tomorrow morning's meeting... :?

But no joy in Mudville...

Jones should Tweet that his election is the biggest win by a democrat ever in the whole world and hundreds of thousands of republicans voted for him, despite Trump's attempts to bring in illegal voters from Mar-a-Lago.

I'm glad to hear that Alabama is not a total state of inbred idiots. It's only about 49% of them. I expect President Drumpf to say it's fake news and demand a recount.

I'm looking forward to Roy's concession speech...

I'm sure it will be an exercise in the sort of uncommon civility and graciousness that has been the hallmark of his career...

Trump actually managed to show some class...(or more likely, somebody else is tweeting for him...)
Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

Congratulations to Doug Jones on a hard fought victory. The write-in votes played a very big factor, but a win is a win. The people of Alabama are great, and the Republicans will have another shot at this seat in a very short period of time. It never ends!

And now you'll never know if I was kidding about moving to Canada.

I do enjoy their national anthem, though. I can actually sing it.

I had to listen to the spewing hate vomit at FOX News all weekend with my client; it’s so much fun watching them squirm tonight.

Unfortunate prediction:

This is the point the Democratic Party gets overconfident crawls up its own ass and stops trying to appeal to centrists/moderates.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Lord Dampnut's Tweet this morning:

We're going to win so much we are going to be so sick and tired of winning. So sick and tired. Winning is not for losers, only for winners. If those losers start winning that will be even more winning winners. But losers will always lose and winners will just get tired of winning more. That will only make America great again because we're winners. Isn't it great that seemingly intelligent, educated, professional men, especially in dreaded, tree hugging, blue states like California -- not so much those beautiful women that I love to grab so much -- love winning as much as the nonthinking, poorly educated, El-Hi dropouts in Alabama that I love so much? So to that I say, 'those losers will only be bigger losers.' Winners... don't you just love them for not losing? You know I'm right.

CP--sadly, I think that's pretty much a certainty. But then I will also guess that the republicans might blame this loss on not going with the Trump bandwagon, and embrace him more, so it kind of evens out.

Well gee, lets just be defeated. From what I'v read, the DNC spent more money on GOTV and local advertising and information -- rather than Statewide TV ads. Perhaps they learned something. Perhaps Perez is keeping their focus. Perhaps the resistance has truly taken hold.

All we can do is keep on working, like we have been, The energy is tremendous. Tax bill, you're next.
