Lo's Inquisition
Re: Lo's Inquisition
That's right, as well as custody of the foster son. He didn't seem interested in contesting him.
Re: Lo's Inquisition
So he didn't actually steal anything... That's what we call a settlement.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: Lo's Inquisition
Other than he squirrelled away ten years of my income and my Navy career savings, no; since my lawyer didn't contest it.
That's legal, but it's not right.

I knew some one had said it before me!Gob wrote:
The point behind this?
Well let's see now, you have posted here a whole catalogue of events in your life, and do not seem to find yourself culpable for any of them.
We have seen you lie, obsess, blame, act ignorant, accuse, undermine, attribute, deny, make the most "interesting" of claims, yet I have yet to see you ever say here; "Hey I screwed up, and this was all my fault", for any of the ongoing list of disasters which you seem to reel from one to another.
It would just be nice to see you take some of the credit for the way your life has turned out. Just a little.

Re: Lo's Inquisition
Let's look at this chronologically, as most of you were there while I posted married to this snake;
I was manipulated and abused for almost ten years.
Then!
I admit to becoming an alcoholic, albeit five years later.
...
...
Cause and effect, anyone? Should seem obvious...
BTW it doesn't work the other way round

Re: Lo's Inquisition
So you have no responsibility or fault in that event.
I wonder if this is what helped drive your ex away, your total and utter inability to admit culpability.

Nope, the PHD's who couseled us never suggested such an absolute.
Wonder all you want wannabe, I'm sorry I ever turned to you.
Seriously.

I will, if you carry on demonstrating how right I am, please?

Re: Lo's Inquisition
But you said a couple of posts back that you did contest it and got the house as a result.loCAtek wrote:Other than he squirrelled away ten years of my income and my Navy career savings, no; since my lawyer didn't contest it.
That's legal, but it's not right.
By your own admission what he did was legal so to accuse him of stealing from you is slander (or libel in this case).
You settled and then regretted the settlement. You've got nobody but yourself to blame for that.

Impossible!

Continue misinterpreting, and overgeneralizing however you see fit. It's of no consequence to me, the machinations of an uneducated, armchair, amateur.Gob wrote:I will, if you carry on demonstrating how right I am, please?
Re: Lo's Inquisition
Perfect! Thanks.

Re: Lo's Inquisition
Income and property are seperate contests, sean.
I hope you never go through a divorce.

Re: Lo's Inquisition
Actually, your savings and your property are both assets, which are seperate to income.

Re: Lo's Inquisition
Thus so, BTW I tried to agrue with my lawyer, but he insisted nothing was wrong; hence my filing a complaint.
Re: Lo's Inquisition
If I were you I'd think very carefully before filing a formal complaint. If everything you have said here is accurate, not only do you have absolutely no grounds for a complaint but you would be inviting a lawsuit by falsely calling his ethics into question.
Saying that, I don't believe for a moment that you are planning to file a complaint. I think you are still trying to find a way to blame all of your problems on your ex. He and his lawyer outsmarted you and your lawyer in (by your own admission) a perfectly legal manner. Deal with it. If it had happened the other way round you would be crowing about it.

Re: Lo's Inquisition
Sean, could you think of better ammo for a lawyer than all the shite Lo has posted here about her ex? I suppose I could if I tried REALLY hard.

...which is still immoral. I will deal with it, in as legal a fashion as is allowed by law.He and his lawyer outsmarted you and your lawyer in (by your own admission) a perfectly legal manner
What you, or anyone thinks of that is irrelevent to my personal business. Sorry, but that's a remedial astronomy lesson (i.e. that the world doesn't revolve around them).
Sorry Gob, I don't care what you think; take your wife's advice and move on!

If you can't do that, you're obsessed.
juss sayin'

I'm heartbroken I tell you, heartbroken!!
