For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Too generic, could come from most any film.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: Name That Movie!
Maybe, but this was a major tag line from the movie. And it was a fairly well known, and acclaimed, movie.
But to give a hint, wes was right, it was John Wayne who said it.

Re: Name That Movie!
true grit? ...or the sequel, rooster cogburn?
Re: Name That Movie!
Nope.
One more hint: Buddy Holly supposedly based the song on this movie line; he wrote it right after he saw the movie 9although it has nothing to do with the plot).

"The Searchers"?

Give that man a cee-gar. The Searchers it was. the quote occurred numerous times throughout the movie, and was even used on the posters. I guess it was something that stuck with me more than with a lot of the others here who saw the movie.
FWIW, AFI called it the best western movie ever and placed it 14th on the best movies of all time; many other groups have similarly lauded the movie. I'm not a big John Wayne fan, but this movie is something special and well worth the watch.
