You know me too well Jarl, and a couple of cars and a campervan. :-)

I've volunteered to "work" one day extra, it's a Saturday, and I'll be paid it at overtime rates...

12 working days left then....

But I thought you planned to be in the UK before the end of 2018? :shrug

Are you sure that’s wise? I mean you’re gonna crack open that advent calendar that first one is going to taste like another etc etc and then you go into work for your last day no less? Do you really want to end up being arrested on live TV?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Will they throw you a big party, or throw themselves a big party?

I've been asked what I would prefer in terms of a leaving do, but apparently; "Nothing, just let me slip out quietly," isn't an option.

One of our consultants is thinking of renting the local yacht club for it, and inviting the whole mental health service.

I can only presume they want to make sure I do leave...

I'm not surprised that they want to throw you a big going-away party...

Like the old saying goes, give the people what they want, and they'll show up... :P

I've volunteered to work an extra day, tomorrow, as it's a Saturday and paid at overtime rates.

The rest of my life begins on Sunday.

Your ex-coworkers are gesturing with their hands. Is that how you show "you're #1" in Oz? That's so sweet.
