Beck: NZ Attack Could Have Been Obama, Deep State Plot
Conservative commentator Glenn Beck has joined the growing legion of Republicans who doubt the authenticity of the New Zealand terrorist attack.
Beck said the attack seemed all too convenient.
“Just when Trump is doing great things in America, this attack pops up,” said Beck on radio show.
He also added Trump had no hand in the attack and there was “no collusion.”
Beck said the attack may have been a false-flag operation by President Barack Obama’s “Deep State” supporters.
“We know Obama has sewed the FBI with some of his Deep State supporters,” said Beck. “Could this have been an operation by some Islamic sleeper agents who wanted to make Trump supporters look racist? We might be looking at another Jussie Smollett situation.”
Several other Republicans also share his conspiratorial view of the New Zealand attack.
Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne also doubted the authenticity of the attack.
“There is no doubt that what happened in New Zealand as horrific as it is, is a false flag that will be blamed on conservatives when it’s all said and done!” said Howard-Browne in a Twitter post.
Beck was fired from FOX News in his heyday for saying Obama hated “the white culture and white people.”
More recently his views have been all over the place. He was once critical of Trump, and before that was a libertarian. But now he’s back in Trump’s corner.
Beck recently donned a MAGA hat, and declared, “I will vote for him in 2020.”
However, according to the Daily Beast, Beck’s latest stunt might be an attempt to win back Trump supporters as his network, TheBlaze, tanks.
The Daily Beast said a close friend called Beck’s latest PR stunt a “desperate and predictable act of a man hanging on to his last shred of relevance by a thread. Trying desperately to woo back the massive number of fans lost when he opposes Trump. Sad.”
