Name That Movie!
Re: Name That Movie!
Why does anyone respond to him, it's pretty clear he isn't actually playing the game. Not the movie.

Maybe I missed it; I thought it was a legitimate guess--if it was a joke, I missed it.

Name That Movie!
I'm hurt. Check the thread and you'll see my guesses are always as good as anyone else. Not only that but I stimulate conversation and enthusiasm for an otherwise silly esoteric game.
You're welcome.

I gave one in a different thread.
It's set in NOLA (just came back from there last night - reminded me how utterly charming that town can be, but no, I don't want to live there).

Well since it's been a while, I answer it "STELLA"
It's A Streetcar Named Desire.

To be fair, I recall that more from the play than from the movie. I first saw the play in the mid 60s and had never heard the term Pollack before; it made an impression.
Continuing with the New Orleans theme:

Great quote, but another movie that I've never heard of even though it had well known actors.

Just to cover all bases, not The Big Easy.
Re: Name That Movie!
Maybe another quote from the movie will help:
Hints--it is set in New Orleans, and it shows (as another quote states) that not everyone there is a Baptist.I want you to show right now how much you love God! I want you to show as your tithe! I want you to open up your hearts! And open up your wallets! And open up your purses! And give it up! Praise the Lord! Somebody's been talking about me, talking about I've been riding around in a Cadillac! If you love me, and you wanna give to me, then I should be in a Rolls Royce!
