I'm saying that because I was born and raised in Baltimore, and because no matter where I live, or what other teams I may root for (and yes, I love the Red Sox, too), I will love dem O's, hon. Until this weekend, I was at the last playoff game played in Camden Yards (the palace of baseball)!
So, I'll say it again -- O.R.I.O.L.E.S.!!!!!

So you were one of the three people at Camden Yards that were NOT in Red Sox gear the last 10 years, then?

Well, the Nats have nothing to be ashamed of; it was their first playoff appearance and they acquitted themselves well, forcing the series to five games against the reigning World Series champs. They could have easily won it, but I think that gap in play off pressure experience may have made the difference in the last inning...
The Giants and the Cards should be great series...
The World Series champs from last year versus the World Series champs from the year before...Both teams have been there done that in terms of high level playoff pressure.
Well at least my Yankees are rolling toward my dream Series. The one in which they think they've won it but at the last minute they all get sunstroke and wander off across the universe leaving someone (anyone) to claim the prize.

They need 4 in a row now. With Jeter out and ARod, and others looking like a Class A batters, odds are long. Of course good pitching always beats good hitting (and visa versa)
