The dickhead who did this owned no guns. His mom posessed the guns legally. No legislation other than smaller magazine sizes would have had any effect on this and I doubt 10 shot clips would have made any difference in the outcome. They were 6 year old kids and would not have put up much of a fight unlike when Colin Fergusen stopped to reload and was finally disarmed on the LIRR. I have a 1968 Remington 600 which only holds 6 rounds (350 magnum shells) however, I can reload all 6 shells in 2 seconds. yes I did time myself this weekend as i was at the range. i also got reprimanded by the range boss as only one round is allowed in the rifle at a time.

On the rabidly right wing Fox News the strongly pro-gun Bill O’Reilly today was using research by Canberra’s own Member for Fraser Dr Andrew Leigh to bludgeon home the message that assault rifles in private hands is not in the public interest
