Yes. Just don't spend all your time ingesting the fruits of your labour to get public money for depression whilst growing more fruits of your labour which will promote depression.
Bah!

Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
Does cannibis induce depression?

Not as far as I am aware, though anyone with any mental health problem is not going to do themselves any favours by indulging in psychoactive compounds.

It seemed to only be current up to 2007, I was trying variations of keywords when; The Hen wrote:You wanted to know whether the case was valid. I gave you a link to a site you could search. The link was there. I told you were on the site to go, I told you when.
It will be the definitive answer as to whether this case is bunkum and you are complaining about the link I provided?
Complain to the website honey, and not me.

I believe I've read literature suggesting that it can, in fact, induce depression when used habitually. I am certainly aware of anecdotal evidence of such; I'll have to go back to my sources & cite to them later for you, dales.dales wrote:Does cannibis induce depression?

Find 'T20110145' on the page and voila!

Here is one quick link I found. I'll look for more later - I haven't quite got the knack of cutting/pasting on my iPhone.
I will say from personal experience, I am convinced that marijuana can precipitate clinical depression. I have experienced it myself and seen it happen to others.
I still believe it is no more harmful than alcohol when used occasionally and in moderation, and my personal belief is that it should be legalized and we should tackle treating those who develop addiction to it rather than expend the tremendous resources we do in enforcing the illegality of it now.
It would be good if the present budget crises nationwide prompted rational reform of the drug laws.

Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
Yup. That's the case Sean. As the site also advises, it is for sentencing.
That is why I suggest it is rechecked in a few weeks. According to all newspaper records, the sentence has been handed down.
I am presuming that part is the myth that Loca thinks she is busting? If so, sorry Lo, there is no myth here. Now you can toddle off ... or wait for a few weeks, just to see if the tabloids reporting this story got it right when this definitive site updates the sentencing record.
(In either case, you can at least stop your incessant yap until you actually have some shred of evidence at your finger tips. Thank you.)

This still doesn't get me to liking the Daily Mail, every a blind pig finds an acorn know and then.
Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
You are you going to tell us which myth you're busting?
Or even admit that you were wrong... there is no myth to bust, just an uninformed leap to a conclusion.

Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
I don't think anyone wants you to like it Lo. Just perhaps you could reconsider what you are doing and maybe not bother joining the threads you have no interest in? Instead of your current action of derailing them by bringing inconsequential issue to the thread.
Bah!

Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
Nah, most of the time the Daily Mail is tabloid news. (Definition provided that does not include printing style) I hate/do not enjoy gossip, others hate/do not enjoy gossip. Post it and, I shall continue to say, I hate/do not enjoy gossip, because it is gossip and not news reporting. If one is free to post gossip here, I m free to post my opinion of it. If this freedom to post is regulated to a specific few, I'm unaware of it, and will otherwise exercise my freedom as I see fit.
Pls let me know when/if my freedom status changes. Requests to share opinions will determined on a case by case basis.

Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
Why?
Why ruin threads that others might enjoy?
Why do that?
We get it that you don't like the paper, even if you can't fucking "myth-bust" the story because there is nothing to myhbust, but why ruin threads that others might like?
This Board wasn't set up to enshrine your freedom to constantly complain.

Re: Horticulture is good occupational therapy
I am sorry you don't get enough attention Lo, but it is no fault of the Daily Mail.
However if you insist on being a total fucking dick in threads that are of no interest to you whatsoever, then it is back to ignore for you.

I KNOW I shouldn't ask, but which part of this legitimate news story, that you weren't able to myth-bust, was gossip and not news reporting?
That's right. none of it.
So at least you agree with me that you shouldn't have joined this thread. Thanks for that. But in future, just stick to posting how much you hate gossip in the gossip stories. OK?
Bah!
