Lo, the nose is at a different angle. You can't state that either.

The same goes for the lips.

Sorry darling, you cannot say he isn't the same man based on those photos.

:D
Bah!

Looks quite a bit like the murdering bastard to me.

Nose, undecipherable whorls, eyebrows, mouth and more.

It's not possible to make a definite determination from those pics but the similarities are real.

Exactly, the investigation will tell; thank dog they took the suspect alive.

It's stupid decisions like those parents made that add to the tragedy.

Taking a 3 month month old to a midnight screening is not as bad as taking a 6 yr old, in my opinion. But it is believed by many that violent movies can influence children in many ways. Batman movies obviously had an Influence on Holmes.

The parents of the 6 yr old made a dumb move taking him or her to that movie. But not because of the shooting. This is another issue entirely.
Yes, it is a different issue entirely, but if stricter adherence to the classification was allowed then a number of innocents would not have been injured or killed.

Allowing a child of such a young age to view a movie that is rated specifically to exclude them can cause a number of physiological issues, both immediately and later in life.

I wonder what age James Holmes was when he saw his first Batman Movie?

LoCa, we know the guy has dyed red hair. (The police have released that.) Why would the guy have a picture of another guy who looks just like him with died red hair on his Facebook Page?
thank dog they took the suspect alive.
Well, LoCa you're entitled to your opinion, but I completely disagree. This guy now has exactly what he wanted; to become a "celebrity killer" (we don't yet know for what purpose he wanted to become a famous murderer, but that much seems pretty clear at this point...he was obviously trying to set himself up to try and achieve a record body count for this sort of crime)

Everything I've seen that has come out since has backed up my initial hypothesis about his motive based on the facts available at that time. He obviously wanted to be around to get off on his notoriety. I think it's a shame that he wasn't denied this, but obviously the police can't execute a person in the field absent some provocation on his part.

I'm sorry that he didn't do something that could have been seen as a provocation.

The names of the 12 people gunned down at a Colorado screening of the new Batman movie were released on Saturday, with a six-year-old girl, a teenager and two US servicemen among the victims.

James Holmes, a 24-year-old postgraduate student born in San Diego, is accused of killing the moviegoers and wounding 58 others at the late-night shooting in Aurora city near Denver while The Dark Knight Rises was being shown.

Arapahoe County Coroner's office said all 12 victims died of gunshot wounds and named the youngest as Veronica Moser-Sullivan, 6.

"She was beautiful and innocent," the girl's great aunt Annie Dalton told The Denver Post, recalling how she "loved to dress up and read, and was doing well at school".

Veronica's mother, who is 25, was shot in the neck and abdomen and is in critical condition at Aurora Medical Centre.

She is drifting in and out of consciousness and is unaware that her daughter is dead, said the newspaper.

The oldest victim was named by the coroner as Gordon Cowden, 51.

The others killed included John Larimer, 27, who joined the US Navy in June 2012, and Jesse Childress, 29, who CNN said was also on active duty as a US Air Force staff sergeant.

Aspiring sportscaster Jessica Ghawi, 24, also died in the rampage.

Ghawi's brother, Jordan, spoke to CNN.

"The more air time these victims have, the less time that man has his two seconds on television," he said, calling Holmes "a coward".

The other victims were Alex Sullivan, a bartender who was celebrating his 27th birthday, Micayla Medek, 23, Jonathan Blunk, 26, Rebecca Wingo, 32, and Alexander Teves, 24.

The 12th person killed was listed by the coroner's office as Matt McQuinn, 27. He has been presumptively identified but is awaiting definitive identification.

Do they have the death penalty in Colorado? If not, can they introduce it.

Do they have the death penalty in Colorado?
Yes, thankfully they do.

As I mentioned in the OP, that fact is just about the only good thing that can be said about this....

If ever a case cried out for the DP, this one certainly does; the crime is the very definition of heinous, and we know with absolute certainty who committed it. I can't imagine the Aurora DA failing to seek it.

The one downside is that the DP will keep this slime ball out of the GP until he receives justice.

Euthanze then dissect.

Perhaps something might be discovered, then again not.

I really don't care, as long as he is put to death.

(Of course if the CO appeals process is anything like CA's........the perp will croak from old age)

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I checked on that Dale...

The average wait for justice to be carried out on Colorado's Death Row is 14 years....

A little on the long side, but warp speed compared to the disgraceful delays in California.

He first must be convicted by a court of law. I do agree that he deserves the death penality but lets not get ahead of the process. I understand the old concept of blood calling out for blood, however if we try to make vengence our first priority we do lose perspective.
This young man is by, first reports intelligent, as well as due to his actions psychologically unstable. When this trial unfolds will be of national interest as the media will undoubtedly cover every utterancy from both sides . Perhaps if the media would only report the end results justice would be better served and not give this murder his ten minutes x whatever of fame.

Thats just my opinion.
I expect to go straight to hell...........at least I won't have to spend time making new friends.

Coincidentally;
Norway has commemorated one year since 77 people were killed and 242 hurt in gun and bomb attacks in Oslo and on the island of Utoeya.

PM Jens Stoltenberg laid a wreath in Oslo before travelling to Utoeya, where he was joined by hundreds of people, including relatives of the dead.

Anders Behring Breivik, who has admitted carrying out the two attacks, remains on trial.

"The killer failed; the people have won," Mr Stoltenberg said.

Most of the dead were young activists with the Labour Party who had been staying on Utoeya as part of a summer camp.

Yes, did you see the Bat-Wiki page that describes his hair as light green?
I'm not trying to be facetious, with genuine interest, have you had a check up for red/green color blindness?
