Re: loCAtek's very own attention thread
Yes I noticed it Jim. Impartial and fair-minded is a bit of a stretch........
I'd probably just end up wanting to knock two heads together and say "FFSSUA" where A = Already.
Not my dog-fight. So if there is such a thread I promised not read it, let alone toss a rock into it.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: loCAtek's very own attention thread
I have a question about this thread that LoCA and Hen will be involved in and most of us will be watching.
Will they be naked?
Will they be naked?

I can guarantee that any fair or unbiased reader of this debacle will not want to knock two heads together.MajGenl.Meade wrote:

Re: loCAtek's very own attention thread
I really object to my head being knocked together with Lo's, as I have been dragged into this action through no fault of my own and have agreed to the mediation for the health of the Board.
Now don't make me have to come up there and knock YOUR collective heads together.
Do you think this is going to be how I want to spend my spare time on the Net?
Really?
I also do not intend to post naked.

I'm posting naked right now, and I have jello in the fridge. Does that help?

Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

No, that is not in any way helpful...I'm posting naked right now, and I have jello in the fridge. Does that help?

In fact, the thought of it is quite frightening.Lord Jim wrote:No, that is not in any way helpful...I'm posting naked right now, and I have jello in the fridge. Does that help?
Not that there's anything wrong with posting naked with jello in the fridge. It's just the visual that makes my brain hurt.
Re: loCAtek's very own attention thread
Yer right a sponge full of beer and a bowl of jello in a refer across the room just don't go together.
I think that was part of a question on a test I took earlier in life...

Re: loCAtek's very own attention thread
I wanted to make a brief comment on this, (I copied this post of Daisy's from the "Pigs In space" thread since I didn't want to further contribute to that thread's derailing)The mediation thread has a ONE WEEK limit to avoid things dragging out ad infinatum.
While it's perfectly understandable that Daisy would not want to spend any more time on this, I'm reasonably sure that if it looked like real progress was being made, and that a little more time might result in a resolution, that for the good of the board someone would come forward to finish up the process, if Daisy felt she no longer could devote the time to be involved...
So I don't think we need to look at this Friday as an absolute "drop dead" date on this...
On the other hand of course, if one of the parties is simply not participating, or the discussion seems to be going nowhere, or it's just going round and round in circles, obviously there's point in continuing; all the time in the world wouldn't make any difference.
It seems to me that this is just like any other type of "mediation" (labor/management negociations, for example.) You have a "deadline," but if it looks like as you approach this deadline that progress is being made and resolution is possible, you can extend it. If it doesn't look that way, then you "break off the talks".

Absolutely agree with this Jim.
If we are in a position of meaningful dialogue, then I am more than happy to continue the process.
At the moment four days in we are in a position of no dialogue.

And three full days have passed.
