Even though it was at the expense of the women of The Land Of The Free And The Home Of The Brave :( :

USA vs. Canada final score: Canada mounts furious comeback, wins women's hockey gold in overtime

Trailing by two goals late in the third period, Canada mounted a comeback for the ages en route to a gold medal in women's hockey.

I took time out to watch it yesterday, and I'm glad I did; helluva game; fantastic intensity....




(Though I still think the bikinis would be a great idea...)

Okay, well I just discovered that I missed the men's semi-final match between Canada and the US, and those damn Canucks won again, (this time 1-0)

Not going to be quite as gracious about this one...

Okay you Moosehead swillers, you do realize that we could take over your country any time we feel like it, right?

A couple of tank divisions and the paratroops of the 82nd Airborne, and The Star and Stripes would be fluttering atop Parliament Hill in three hours...tops..

We could then install Rob Ford as Colonial Governor....

Celine Dion could then take over his gig as the new Mayor of Toronto, and Bill Shatner could be your new Minister Of Culture....

I suggest you guys bear all of that in mind before you next decide to show off in an athletic competition against the Good Ol' US of A...
