Police Called To Lib Dem Conference After Man Spotted Wearing Sandals Without Socks
Conference News: Police were called to the Liberal Democrats conference yesterday, after a man was spotted not wearing any socks with his regulation sandals.
Glasgow’s Exhibition and Conference Centre was evacuated and hundreds of terrified Liberal Democrat supporters flocked into the streets following the initial sighting of the man, who was later found to be simply wearing flesh-coloured socks, which gave the suggestion of a naked foot.
“It was a horrifying experience that I will probably carry with me to my grave,” said one shocked attendee. “What kind of monster wears sandals and no socks? At a Liberal Democrats conference no less.”
The incident is just one in a conference that has been marred with similar controversy.
On Saturday, lunch was briefly halted while it was established if the tuna used in the sandwiches was dolphin friendly.
And later on Sunday afternoon, Vince Cable was spotted arguing with a renegade group of Lib Dems of the merits of classic chinos over a reliable pair of chunky cord trousers

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

A giant spider. Can't tell you if it was Muslim or not but we did flush it in the toilet, much like Bin Laden was dispatched. No symptoms of Ebola at this time.
