An Ohio man was arrested after allegedly calling 911 to report his wife for stealing his cocaine.
Robert Collins, 39, reportedly phoned the cops just before 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday to report the crime, according WJW. Instead, police arrested him and charged him with misuse of 911 and drug paraphernalia.
In the call, Collins says he and his "lady" got into a disagreement and she took the drugs he'd purchased earlier that day. He then launched into a profanity-laced tirade against said "lady."
When officers arrived at the scene, Collins insisted there was no emergency, refusing to tell police why he'd called 911, according to Alliance Police Department report obtained by The Smoking Gun.
They searched his home and discovered he had "a pipe used to smoke marijuana in his possession," the report states.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Stark County jail.
What happened to the reported cocaine remains unclear.
