Review this photo and what we know about his family background:

Is he Hispanic? Doesn't he come from a long line of Connecticut WASPs/isn't he Pappy Bush's son?

Which is it Jeb?

Jeb Bush admits mistake: He's not Hispanic

Jeb Bush is not Hispanic, even if he somehow said so on an old voter registration form.

The New York Times obtained a copy of Bush’s 2009 voter registration application from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department in which the former Florida governor marked “Hispanic” in the section asking about race and ethnicity.

Bush is a scion of one of America’s best-known political families. He speaks fluent Spanish — and he does have some of the strongest ties to Hispanics of any potential GOP presidential contender.

“It’s unclear where the paperwork error was made. The governor’s family certainly got a good laugh out of it,” said Bush spokeswoman Kristy Campbell.

Indeed, Bush’s youngest and namesake son trolled his father on Twitter with the hashtag #HonoraryLatino.

Bush’s response to Jeb Bush Jr.: “My mistake! Don’t think I fooled anyone!”

Bush’s wife, Columba, was born and raised in Mexico, and they met while he was on an exchange program as a prep school student. In the 1970s, Bush worked in Venezuela as a vice president for Texas Commerce Bank. While governor, Bush enjoyed the support of Hispanic voters and had strong ties to the Cuban Americans who are a significant presence in the Miami area.

It doesn't make a scintilla of sense for this to have been anything other than an honest mistake, because as Bush himself pointed out, it's not like he could fool anybody about it...

That story is too much like the things Faux News always comes up with. They find little things that are relatively meaningless and struggle to turn them into major scandals.

Those kinds of reports make it look like the anti-Jeb people are desperate and can't find anything substantial to pick apart.

Democrats should be...hee hee hee...above... ha ha... that.... cough!!........... BWAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Sorry. That thought cracked me up.

btw - I'm not a supporter of Bush.

Of course, if this were Obama they'd be asking for his long form original birth certificate.

That's it--let's start a nacimiento commission to look into this man's birthplace and citizenship, as well as his right to work in the US. Until we know for certain, I say we should call him Senor Arbusto.

Given the bru-ha-ha over Lizzie Warren's heritage/claims, and the Kenyan crap, it at least bears some scrutiny.

ol' Jeb has a rich fantasy life. It goes with an economic platform based on wishful thinking and denial of reality.
