So, that Miles Davis, super fine singer wasn't he?
Nailed that charisma-with-a-microphone thing something wicked. Just ask Sony Pictures Classic the film company which will be releasing the biographic film of the aforementioned Miles Davis, to be called Miles Ahead.
In a press release announcing their acquisition of the project which will star, and be directed by, Don Cheadle, Sony Pictures Classic boast of its superior quality as a motion picture.
"What Don Cheadle has done here with the spirit of Miles Davis is truly astounding. We are not only witnessing for the first time this part of Miles Davis' story as it deserves to be told, but also the birth of a major film director who happens to portray the iconic singer in a jaw dropping performance."
Eh? He what?
He didn't sing. He played trumpet. And not even in a pop band but jazz. Whoa. Who knew?
Clearly not Sony Pictures Classic, perhaps ironically one of the film arms of the Sony conglomerate whose Sony Music label has released many of Davis' recordings, including this month, Miles Davis At Newport 1955-1975.
Embarrassment much? Did someone at Sony Pictures Classic actually read the script, watch the footage or, you know, read a book or newspaper or magazine some time in the past decade or two. Or five?

Yeah but what about his behind? (rubato wants to know)
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
