Happy Thanksgiving

To those on the board who are of the American persuasion. May you eat too much and watch too much football. I will be working. Save me a turkey leg.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American chums! :)
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

House cleaned, linens ironed, porch swept, brussels sprouts prepped and ready, turk in oven buttered herbed and prepped (looks huge! but can't be), got fresh clothes laid out for when company comes. Some of the same group we've been having t-day with for 20 years for one and 30 years for the other of us are coming over. There are always ancillary guests and this time too ... We've hosted the past 2 plus this one.

Bright sun and a clear but cool sky after a pounding weekend rain. Sails out on the bay.

A day to be thankful for.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving weekend. I played in our annual Turkey Bowl which we have played in since 1974. I only missed one in 1985 when my son was only 2 months old and there was 6" of snow on the ground that thanksgiving. The wife was afraid to drive (I would be leaving around 9am and she would be going to her parents around 12noon) alone, so I did not attend the game.

I am still in pain from this years game.
