They're hoping to raise $1 million through this site, but as is pointed out in the original article, you have to wonder just which driver or team would be willing to risk alienating their fan base — or even other sponsors... like Verizon (IndyCar series title sponsor), Honda or Chevrolet (suppliers of the engines to IndyCar), or tiremakers Goodyear and Firestone — by agreeing to do something like this, even for a million bucks.
I'll give them credit, though, for some attractive graphics.
