For the first time, and probably a first in the world, the Prime Minister will be marching today, along with the Premier of Ontario and the Mayor of Toronto. The parade will begin with a tribute to the victims of Orlando.

It turned out to be a great day.
As previously announced, the parade began with a tribute to Orlando:



At 3:00 the parade came to a halt for a minute of silence in memory of the victims:

Some showed their patriotic pride:

If I rubbed his belly, would I get three wishes?

The PM was having a great time:

And it appears he brought some members of his fan club:

Those estimating the crowd size believe it exceeded that of WorldPride two years ago:

There is very little difference between gay pride parades and the Mummers Parade in Philly on New Year's Day.

Gay Pride parades are always amongst the most colorful and festive parades you'll see...

Actually I watched it on television. The pictures were taken by a friend.
