A seagull was filmed snatching a bag of £1 coins from a ferry.
The feathered fiend flew off with a total of £20 in cash when it swooped on the Greenway Ferry on the River Dart in Devon.
Ferry operator Ross Prowse said: "He dropped the bag of cash on the slipway, presumably after realising it was not edible.
"The seagulls are a regular sight and are always after our food."
Following the cash raid, the seagull was filmed making off with a newspaper.
