Reports: Man allegedly kills Tinder date then dissolves her body in acid

Police say a man dissolved his 26-year-old Tinder date in acid after she didn't have sex with him, according to multiple reports.

According to Attorney General Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, Emmanuel Delani Valdez Bocangegra, 26, was arrested in Mexico City after human bones were discovered in garbage bags beside caustic soda and hydrochloric acid on his apartment balcony, a local news outlet reports.

Following DNA testing, the victim was confirmed to be Francia Ruth Ibarra, who was reported missing by family in Leon, Central Mexico earlier in December. The 26-year-old woman reportedly met Bocangegra through Tinder, a dating app, and met him several times in the months before her disappearance on Dec. 3, the Daily News reports.

Authorities say Bocangegra was "indifferent" to his arrest following Ibarra's death. The murder trial will reportedly be handled by Judge Gabriela Berenice Pineda, local news outlets report.

Obviously the solution that Emmanuel used was a couple of gallons of hydrochloric acid. It's always those pesky unrealistic expectations that lead to relationship problems. Maybe he should have swiped left and moved on.

Besides, this is a clear an indictment of the Mexican education system. Basic chemistry says if you mix caustic soda and hydrochloric acid, you get a salt which would preserve, not destroy, the evidence.
